About Us
Oven and BBQ Cleaning in Surrey, West Sussex and South East London
Hello, I’m Bob Harrington, the owner and founder of Crystal Clean Ovens, based in Tadworth in Surrey.
I love tinkering with components and machinery and have been within the motor industry all of my adult life. In fact, I could be what’s affectionally called, a bit of a ‘petrol head’, but I prefer to say I have vast mechanical knowledge. This love of components and machinery is what led me to Crystal Clean Ovens.
I established Crystal Clean Ovens in 2008, as an independent oven cleaning business, with one simple goal; to provide a professional, reliable and friendly oven cleaning service that customers can genuinely trust. Since then, I’ve built a loyal customer base across Surrey, West Sussex and South East London. Many of our customers have been with us since the business started and return year after year, recommending our services to their family, friends and neighbours.
Over the years, we’ve cleaned thousands of ovens, cookers, range cookers, Agas and BBQs, gaining extensive knowledge of almost every make and model on the market. No matter the age, style or condition of your appliance, we take pride in delivering the highest possible standard of workmanship.
The business has grown organically over the years, and we now have a very small team of oven cleaning technicians and support staff, helping the business to continue providing a fantastic service to our clients.
Your Local Oven Cleaning Specialist Since 2008
Independent Oven Cleaning
As an independent oven cleaning business, we are not part of a large chain, sending whichever employee is available on the day to you.
We are a very small team, who work closely together and really get to know our customers. Many of the people we visit have been using our services for years, and we’ve built lasting relationships with families throughout the areas we cover.
Every customer is different, and so is every home. Some customers enjoy having a chat whilst we work, while others prefer to carry on with their day and maximise their time efficiently. We are always happy to adapt to whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
Our aim is to provide a professional service that fits seamlessly into your home, with minimal disruption and maximum results.

Oven Servicing and Cleaning
We believe that quality workmanship starts with using quality products.
Whether we’re carrying out a professional oven clean, BBQ cleaning, or minor oven repairs, we always strive to use the best cleaning materials and suitable replacement parts available.
From door seals and bulbs to heating elements and switch gear, we focus on providing solutions that offer reliability and value for our customers. When you’ve been cleaning ovens for as long as we have, you start to understand that every appliance has its own quirks and characteristics. We take the time to get to know your oven inside and out, carefully assess each appliance and use the most suitable cleaning methods and products to achieve the best results.
Because we regularly maintain many customers’ ovens, we often become familiar with the appliance itself, allowing us to spot issues early and provide helpful advice on keeping it in good condition. We can provide oven repairs as part of our oven cleaning service.
When we work in your home, we take precautions to protect the surrounding areas, work carefully and always clean up after ourselves, you won’t be left with dirty cloths, mess or cleaning materials to deal with afterwards.
We understand that many homeowners are concerned about the use of strong chemicals around their family, pets and food preparation areas. That’s why we use professional cleaning products that are designed to be effective without the need for harsh chemicals being used inside your home. We leave your oven, or BBQ, clean, safe and ready to use as soon as the job is complete.
